It has been a little over ten years since Chief Executive Guru Keith Schoolcraft started aCOUPLEofGURUS from his apartment. He just couldn't ignore the entrepreneurial spirit that had built up inside of him, so he set out to build his own company. Ten years later and the Gurus are better than ever! Keith's hard work and expertise has not only helped to establish a strong, growing company, it has also caught the eye of businesses around him. Keith was independently nominated as Entrepreneur of the Year through the TwinWest. This is an award that the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce has been handing out for the past two decades, and is a high honor in the local business world. According to the TwinWest, the "Entrepreneur of the Year finalists represent established, successful leaders who have proven themselves ... the finalists are member entrepreneurs of the TwinWest Chamber who have established and maintained a successful business of $100 million or less in annual revenue, and is five or more years old." Keith went through multiple interviews, sat in front of a panel of judges, and was even featured on a local business podcast. The awards ceremony was held on Thursday, May 24, 2012. The winner of the award was Scott Seiler of SeilerSchindel, PLLC, but Keith was also honored at the event, including a video feature. Keith, from all of us at the Gurus, congratulations!
